Forced break

I decided to delete earlier Postings on this blog because we have to start completely anew. Madi was first diagnosed with mild mechanical laminitis. That turned out to be a simple hoof abcess now. Nevertheless I decided to continue her special diet and the painkillers for 2 weeks - just to be on the safe site. Also work is completely cut down to 0 for the next 4 weeks.  Madi is fine with her shoes now and in a good mood but a little angry because we stopped her pasture season and will not return to pasture this year :( Poor thing. I had to put a horse to sleep because of laminitis so she has to live with it because I don't want to have to put down THIS horse too :)
